We are proud to announce that we have been issued an Accreditation Primer Award through Accreditation Canada. The decision followed an on-site survey in December 2023 as part of an ongoing accreditation process.

The Accreditation Primer is a health organization’s first step on the Qmentum accreditation journey. Qmentum, Accreditation Canada’s innovative accreditation program, is based on expert consultation and uses the latest research and evidence to drive quality improvement and patient safety. Steps taken throughout the accreditation process helps us understand what we are doing well and where we can improve when evaluated against national standards.

Accreditation Canada is an independent, not-for-profit, 100% Canadian organization that consults with experts to develop health care standards for clients including hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, clinics, and community health programs. They have been helping clients improve health care quality and safety for over 55 years.
