Program description

Provided in partnership with local police services and hospitals, IMPACT delivers community-based support to individuals who are experiencing an addictions and/or mental health-related crisis and have come into contact with police as a result.

How do I get an appointment?

IMPACT provides brief service in situational crises to individuals who have come into contact with police.

How can I make a referral?

Referrals to IMPACT Co-Response services are only accepted from participating police services.

Referrals to IMPACT Transitional services are only accepted from Co-Response workers.

Initial program referrals are made directly through participating police services to IMPACT Co-Response Workers.

Transfers to IMPACT Transitional Workers are made directly from Co-Response Workers

How do I connect?

IMPACT staff connect to individuals based on police referral to the program. This may occur through a live call, an after the fact referral, or outreach.

Located throughout HPE at Belleville Police Service, Quinte West OPP, Prince Edward OPP, Central Hastings OPP, and Bancroft OPP as well as in CMHA HPE offices in each of these areas.
